The origins of our point-of-sale software for the iPad, iPhone, and web.

iConnect POS originated from a custom development firm that creates innovative software applications for fortune 500 enterprises. While working with an international enterprise in the health and beauty industry, we saw the countless challenges salon owners faced using point-of-sale equipment. We asked ourselves what it would take to deliver a superior and simple solution. We believed this type platform would offer unprecedented value to small businesses.

With a mobile first strategy in mind, iConnect POS set out to simplify the demands of managing the many complex IT challenges and costs that exist with traditional point of sale. In 2010 we began to integrate our existing applications into a single platform and our customers began to expand beyond salons and barbershops. iConnect became the world’s first truly cloud based mobile point-of-sale solution to offer a seamless iPhone, iPad, and Web based cloud experience.

Day in and day out, we worked exhaustively with business owners, managers, and employees to create a simple, yet intuitive product to meet the needs of business owners. For years we listened to our customer’s feedback to improve the product, and remain committed to the advancement of iConnect POS.
